We are looking for a man with a heart for the gospel and the church. Our congregation has a history of investing in and nurturing a passion for ministry among young ministers and recent graduates from all sorts of backgrounds. We try to maintain a broad kingdom perspective as we partner for a time with those God sends our way. While education, experience, and qualities like age and marital status will be considered, our priority is finding the right man regardless of his situation or season in life. We are praying for someone who will help us grow and mature in Christ, while at the same time helping them grow in their own faith journey. Our congregation averages about 130 in attendance with a healthy mix of age ranges and demographics. We are especially blessed with younger children at the moment and are looking for a candidate who can work with all ages, but also pour into younger kids as well as teens and young adults. We have strong ties to Camp Deer Run and participate in the North East Texas Summer Youth Series (NETSYS) events. As the only Church of Christ in Winnsboro, we also participate in activities with the community and the various Christian denominations in town as well.

Winnsboro is a small town with a 3A school in the heart of the “Piney Woods” of East Texas. We are located 2 hours east of Dallas between I-20 and I-30. Close to both Lake Fork and Lake Cyprus Springs/Bob Sandlin, our area appeals to avid outdoorsmen. We also have a bustling arts district with many events throughout the year and lots of small town charm.
