We are a group of committed disciples of Jesus Christ who seek to be Jesus in our community through love, service, and ministry. We are a testament to the fact that an abundant life can only be found in Jesus. Winnsboro Church of Christ was founded in 1942 by six families. Those families saw a need to spread the life-changing love of Jesus with the community of Winnsboro. Although many things about our congregation have changed since then, our focus remains on sharing the Good News about Jesus. What's the bottom line? More than ever, Winnsboro Church of Christ is committed to fostering a family that is focused on Jesus: walking as He walked, loving as He loved, forgiving as He forgave. As we move forward as a church family, our commitment to be like Jesus remains at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe there is one God who is revealed to mankind in three persons: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Commonly known as the Trinity.
We believe the Bible is the complete, infallible, revelation of God's redemptive plan. Therefore, it is the sole authority for us today.
We believe all people have sinned and fall short of the glory and holiness of God. It is for this reason that everyone has been separated from God and is in need of salvation.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He was sent from heaven, born of a virgin. He is God in the flesh. While on earth Jesus lived a sinless life. He died a gruesome death on a cross. However, He was resurrected on the third day. All of this was for the forgiveness of our sin.
We believe that salvation is obtained by grace through faith in Jesus. Faith comes from hearing the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus, believing that He is the Christ, and repenting (turning away) from past sin. That faith is expressed by confessing that Jesus is the Son of God and being baptized for the remission (removal) of sin.
As disciples of Jesus we are called to walk as He walked, maturing in our faith. Jesus himself said, "Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life." (Revelation 2:10)
