We are back to meeting in person on our normal weekly schedule!

Letter from our Shepherds - 10/28/20

Dear Church Family,

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding these past several weeks. We will be resuming our schedule of in-person activities this coming week.

Beginning Sunday, November 1st the weekly schedule is as follows:

  • 9:30am Sunday Morning Bible Classes
  • 10:30am Sunday Morning Worship
  • 6:30pm Wednesday Evening Bible Classes

The above will continue to be subject to change depending on circumstances, but we will communicate any changes as quickly and clearly as we can.

Because we are heading into the fall and cases have been rising both locally and globally, we will be more diligent with our social distancing measures. As the summer progressed, we became more relaxed, but out of love and courtesy for others and especially for those who are at higher risk, we feel it best to implement the following for the immediate future:

  • Everyone is asked (not required) to wear a mask to and from their seat.
  • Everyone is asked (not required) to avoid hand-shaking and hugging.
  • Every other pew will be taped off for better distancing.

Remember that hand-sanitizer is available in the foyer and we encourage everyone to make use of it during their time inside the building. The adult Sunday morning and Wednesday night Bible classes will be moving into the auditorium where these measures can better be followed. Teens will have their classes upstairs in the youth room.

We are hoping that these restrictive measures can be lifted soon, but for now we believe these precautions are best for everyone involved. In the mean-time, we want everyone in and connected to our church family to know that they are welcome, they are loved, and that their health and safety during this pandemic are important to us. This is not the ideal way to have gatherings, but it is better than not meeting at all. We will get through this together. We love you and look forward to seeing you soon.
